This is a wonderful book about rural observation and speculation, which summarizes the decline of China's rural areas, the rural construction movement, and the deep structure, and on this basis, through the debate on the structure, archetype, phenomenon, modernity and other issues of the countryside, it establishes a linguistic-based rural research thread, which leads to the phenomenological entry of this book. In the process of interpreting these rural terms, photography, text, sketching—these different ways of writing form a new intertextual context of free dialogue between various texts, so as to avoid historical meaning being fixed in signifiers and fixed into clichés. Each word is not fixed as a symbol, but needs to be rewritten by the user to generate a new meaning.
