This is a compilation of cases on urban design courses in the joint teaching practice of the China Academy of Art and the École des Beaux-Arts de Paris, France. The book draws on different currents of thought on urban settlements at different times since the Modernist movement, and brings together the experimental exploration results of Chinese and French students in the joint teaching of urban design. On the one hand, the book is a compilation of Chinese and French teaching cases, and on the other hand, it also reflects the tremendous impact of China's rapid urbanization on urban settlements.
